Canvassing for Jill at the Washington Metros (College Park Station)

We launched our Canvassing for Jill at the Washington Metros campaign during Labor Day week and we will continue to campaign at the Metro stations throughout the election season. Help us pass out flyers to commuters at the College Park Metro station on Thursday September 15 from 4:30 -7:30 pm. You can join us whenever you can get there, and leave when you must. Give us 1, 2 or 3 hours, to make contact with voters at the station and provide them with information about Jill and help win them over with your enthusiasm. We will be giving out flyers for Jill and have some signs, buttons, and voter registration cards too. We will follow up with you later to see what time you can actually arrive and what time you must leave so that we can plan for good coverage throughout our canvassing time at this station.

If you have any questions, please call me at 301-755-7899 or send me an email at

Canvassing for Jill at the Washington Metros:

We will be covering three more stations during the following week of September 19. The three are Wheaton on Tuesday September 20, Bethesda on Wednesday September 21, and Greenbelt on September 22. All times are from 4:30-7:30. We will be putting up more announcements about other Metro stations in the near future. If you wish to volunteer to canvass at any MD Metro station (other than Bethesda, Wheaton, Greenbelt, or College Park which currently have their own individual Event signup pages) at any time in September or October, please send me an email and indicate which stations and dates you wish to volunteer for. The more volunteers we get, the sooner we will be able to schedule additional stations. Note also that we covered the Silver Spring, Shady Grove, and Glenmont stations during Labor Day week but will be returning to those stations again in a few weeks.
