I can meet you at the INFORMATION GATE after you call me at 919-916-0586 to let me know you arrived. There is free parking on campus. I will be at Saint Augustine's from 1 pm-4 pm. You can show up for 30 minutes, 1 hour or whatever suites you best.
I can provide all the materials you need.
Ultimately we will stand in front of the Cheshire Building and Library, and, if there are enough of us, in front of the Boyer Building. The address is 1315 Oakwood Avenue.
This is a historically African American university so we will be able to emphasize total student loan debt forgiveness, free public college, $15/hr minimum wage, Black Lives Matter (especially demilitarization of police and oversight of the police). Actually, I emphasize to everyone at NC State all of these, and also Medicare for All, because most students and the U.S. population, in general, have inadequate or no insurance plans.
We will hand out the student loan forgiveness flyer that is the image that goes with this event. We will ask curious students to go to
and if they would like to sign up to learn more, and ask if they would like to sign the online petition to allow Jill into the nationally televised debates. We will ask super-interested students if they would like to see the volunteer sheet to see if any of the options interest them. Also we will ask them if they are registered to vote in the same town as they will be voting in November. I have signup sheets, volunteer sheets, flyers and registration forms.
Remember, we have 43 million Americans burdened with student loan debt. The Federal Reserve Board can cancel the debt as a stimulus package for the economy. This does not need Congressional, approval. This does not add to U.S. government debt. Young people will be able to buy homes, cars, and other consumer goods and services, and that creates new jobs and businesses, and generates tax revenue.
