Act now to join the Party Building Initiative!

Last Chance to Receive Funds for Green Organizing in Your State!

If you can act quickly, your state party can receive up to $5000 to build Green capabilities in your state.  The deadline for submitting an application is being extended to Thursday (August 4).  So far, applications have been approved for MA, NJ, NY, OR, and WA.  See below to see if your state is eligible.

These funds are being provided by the Jill Stein for President campaign in the form of a simple contract with state Green Parties.  The form of the contract (and the deadline) stems from requirements imposed by campaign finance laws.

The work being funded will strengthen Jill's campaign as well as assisting in the development of local green party infrastructure.  The contracts do not imply that your state party has endorsed Jill.  They just require that you make a good faith effort to address the kind of tasks you list in your application.

Q: Who is eligible?

A: Any recognized state Green party that files reports with the FEC.

Q: How do we apply?

A: The co-chairs of your state party (or other presiding officers) must complete the application form below and return it to us by August 4 (Thursday). To be considered, please return this form via email to john.andrews@jill2016.com.

Q: Does our party have to make a decision on exactly how we will spend the funds?

A: In order to remain compliant with federal laws and FEC regulations, we’ve put a menu of options on the application form below that define allowable uses of funds. Please select the options that best match your own capacity and interests as a party. Selecting options on the application doesn’t commit you to do all the selected items - but we ask you to follow up with the Campaign later to tell us what you're doing.

Q: When will I know if my application has been approved?

A: We will contact you as soon as you have been approved.

Q: Who do I contact if I have questions?

A: Contact John Andrews, john.andrews@jill2016.com
